Start your morning by strolling through the majestic Imperial Palace Garden for seasonal flowers and old architecture built by the Tokugawa shoguns. Next is Akihabara, a center for electronics and animation and one of the most visited towns in Tokyo. This town is sure to ignite your imagination and curiosity. Yet even in the busiest town, one can find modest shrines nestled in narrow alleyways embracing the tradition of worshipping gods. A popular cherry blossom site of Ueno Park is just a short walk away. Ueno district is also a gateway to a merchant town. Be sure to visit small shops and studios of traditional crafts dating back to the 6th century, and the Tokyo National Museum, the oldest and the largest museum in Japan with an extensive collection of national treasures.
